The Compact Drop Tester aims to verify packing drop-impact resistance performance in transport, handling and to determine the rationality of packing design as well as package impact-resistance grade, mainly applied for large-size package drop test objective.
The Compact Drop Tester consists of main working mechanism that includes testing specimen holder in a shape of E move down in a rapid speed, which requests the testing specimen is placed on a platform by face, angle, corner.
The testing specimen move down quickly and away from testing specimen during test process, The E-shape holder fall into bottom plate through a buffer before testing specimen fall onto bottom plate.
Rolling wheel Dual-Guide Structure design aims to avoid derailment in elevation & free drop and guarantees safety in test;
Employs motorized elevation design with less troubleshooting and easy to maintenance & repair;
DC Electromagnetic Chuck attracts drop holder (testing specimen) is available to release dropping holder instantaneously and ensures the packing specimen can perform free drop and impact base vertically;
Using DC uninterrupted power supply to supply electromagnetic chuck in case of hurt or damage because of sudden power-off; Inverted trapezoid structure design to guarantee no impact on bottom base in case of sudden drop of elevating mechanism;
It is designed with optical coder to collect height variant data & parameters of elevation simultaneously, which can display or set current height, target height as well as automatic shutdown when pre-settting height reached with its resolution can reach up to 1mm;
This drop test, is applied for large-size or medium-size package in dropping test, easy to testing specimen loading and unloading, available to implement drop test from corner, face, angle and the drop height can be set to start from zero;
Dual Hydraulic Buffer is designed to absorb instaneous impact energy from drop holder in case of secondary impact that will causes bad effect or rigid impact damage of drop holder;
